This project transforms a 93 m² apartment in Lauttasaariinto a functional family home through a careful reorganisation of the existing floor plan.
The original layout was restructured to accommodate three bedrooms, an additional WC and a spacious utility room, while improving the overall flow of the apartment. By relocating the kitchen, the living areas were opened into a generous open-plan kitchen and living space that forms the social heart of the home.
Storage, circulation and service spaces were redesigned to support everyday family life for a household of five while maintaining a calm and coherent spatial experience.
The project combines architectural planning, lighting design and custom cabinetry. Integrated storage, natural materials and soft lighting create a warm and balanced interior.

We worked with Siiri to redesign the floor plan of our old apartment, completely transforming its layout. What once felt constrained is now a highly functional and beautifully balanced home. She has an exceptional ability to see spatial potential and make every decision feel intentional. The comprehensive lighting plan she designed truly elevated the entire apartment, enhancing both atmosphere and everyday living.
